I was first introduced to the world of Schumacher when I started sourcing fabrics for our home, and I cannot tell you how much I absolutely adore this brand. Their playful prints, bold stripes, hand-cut fringe, and trim are not only beautiful but exude a sense of classicism which I love. Whenever I’m thinking of adding new drapery to a room or upholstering a piece of furniture, I seem to always be reaching for their selection over any other fabricator.
Schumacher also works with artists and designers on creating new collections which I always love keeping up with. One of my favorites has been their collaboration with Mark Sikes, who is a celebrated interior designer known for his fresh take on timeless aesthetics. His collection is beautiful and worth checking out.
I recently created custom pillows and a cushion with Schumacher fabrics for our entryway bench and had so much fun going through their selection. I picked the Audrey Stripe fabric for the cushion and paired it with pillows in their Torbay Hand Blocked Print, and it turned out so adorable! Now our next step with this bench will be painting the shiplap, which we’re tackling soon!
